Virginia delegates are shaking their fists at the federal government by adding to a crop of anti-government legislation sprouting around the country.
A bill aiming to duck out of federal healthcare reform has been approved by Virginia’s general assembly, while similar legislation has been filed in at least 30 other states, according to the Washington-based nonprofit American Legislative Exchange Council. The Virginia House and Senate, along with Gov. Bob McDonnell, are poised this week to approve a final version of the bill, which says citizens cannot be required to have medical insurance.
But that’s not the extent of the anti-federal initiatives. Dozens of states are trying to assert independence from the U.S. government by resisting regulation of firearms, commerce and currency.
Supporters of the bills say they’re defending states’ rights under the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which reserves those powers not expressly granted to the federal government for the states.
The Virginia House has approved bills aimed at protecting firearms and commerce within the state.

Hope my state Oregon gets ok with this idea, but here in Oregon, so darn liberal, I only stay because my son lives here. But this is good in my humble opinion get the federal government a lot smaller, they want to control all you do, I heard today in UK they are putting monitors in trash cans to see how much trash each person throws away and will charge them accordingly. So many Muslim in that country, they are taking it down also, Thistle, you call them ragheads, my sister used to call them disperheads, I not too sure which is correct. God Bless America

Thanks for the link. If this will begin to happen on a Nation wide scale I think it will bear fruit.I have heard Col. Fitzpatrick speak and hes a no nonsense guy and a Patriot of the first degree.I believe its this kind of action that will bring this thing to head.If this doesn’t get the Tall Hats and Long Beards in Washington’s attention , nothing will.Godspeed.

Yes LBTN,Lt.Commander Fitzpatrick has been on the front line against this outrage from the beginning and his courage is unquestionable.Very smart thinking getting these police depts involved if possible because it basically brings them to the forefront whether they like it or not.I am really looking forward to further correspondence.cheers
