Rush celebrates: This One’s for You, Mary Jo!
January 20th, 2010

RUSH: Ladies and gentlemen, for the first time in my life I am proud of Massachusetts, as I paraphrase Michelle (My Belle) Obama. For the first time in my life I am proud of Massachusetts. I seem to remember some hack saying you never want to waste a crisis. Some hack in the White House said that. I think his name was Rahm Emanuel. That’s exactly right. Well, they are in a crisis right now, and turnaround is fair play. So let me say, ladies and gentlemen, you never want to waste a crisis, especially when it’s the libs experiencing the crisis. So keep up the pressure. Now is the time to keep hammering away. This is not just one election. This is the third blowout involving two — or actually three — dark blue states. It is not about Coakley’s campaign or Corzine’s problems or Creigh Deeds being a lightweight. The common thread here is Obama. This one’s for you, Mary Jo. This one’s for you, Judge Bork.
Now, this guy in the LA Times: “The Lesson of Massachusetts? Anger. — The electorate is increasingly restive, and it’s not just about the Democrats.” See, my friends, this is the danger. LA Times, voters are mad at both parties. This is the danger, that we not allow the liberals and the Democrats to reinterpret what took place here. Conservatism won. Statism, liberalism lost. If you are a Republican and you run against government run health care; if you are a Republican and you run against massive spending and deficits and taxes; if you run for smaller government, you will win. You do not need to throw Ronald Reagan overboard. You do not need to cross the aisle. The independents came to us, big. Rasmussen’s numbers are incredible. Like 69, 70% of the independents went for Scott Brown, and that was an issue-oriented campaign that he ran. These are Reagan Democrats that crossed over. Conservatism is the answer. The era of Reagan is not over. We don’t dare use this as a launching pad for a third party. We have shown it’s totally unnecessary. Just get back to Reagan conservative roots.

Scott Brown Is More Liberal Than Olympia Snowe, And Now He’s Pivotal, Too
http://bshor.wordpress.com/2010/01/20/scott-brown-is-more-liberal-than-olympia-snowe-and-now-hes-pivotal-too/
Excerpts:
Scott Brown’s legislative record in the State Senate put him in the liberal wing of his party – a state legislative caucus which was amongst the most liberal Republicans in the country.
My comparative research design allowed me to place him to the left of Dede Scozzafava, even though the two had never served together. It also allows me to put Brown on the same ideological scale with members of Congress, so I can make an informed prediction about how he’ll vote when he joins the Senate.
In particular, based upon his voting record in the Massachusetts State Senate as well the Votesmart surveys of MA state legislators (include his own from 2002), I estimate that Brown is to the left of the previously leftmost Republican in the Senate, Olympia Snowe of Maine (see her issue positions here) and to the right of the rightmost Democrat in the Senate, Ben Nelson of Nebraska (issue positions here).

Yep! I say bring this guy a presentment… lol
Was it J.B Willians who suggested to take back the Republican party? Well… he has a lot of work to do ahead of him.

French, you may be right, but don’t underestimate the power of the people that voted for him to hold him accountable. He was a much better choice that Coakley. We have to give him a chance. What more can we do? I believe God answered or prayers and put him there for a reason. Now it is our duty to pray that he will always make the right decisions. Just seeing the reaction of the left makes it worth it all. Also taking the seat out of the hands of the Kennedy machine was a historical event. I love it. There will be more to come in 2010. Just hold on to your seat. We are awake now and will not sleep nor nap until we take our country back.

He beat Coaxley, slapped the dems right across their face and vindicated Mary Jo Koepeckne, someone who Washington tries to shove under the rug as often as they can, including the repuglicans. That spelling is not a mistake.
This only goes to show me that repuglicans can not see the forest for the trees. Rush who is suppose to be one of our leaders either didn’t want to mention it delibrately or didn’t have his hearing aid in, because he missed the, I believe in a BIG TENT remark. Repuglicans have this unusual ability to miss the obvious even when it smacks them in the face.
Their behavior has a subliminal effect to it, if they leave out a very important fact or they make up their assinine remarks we the people are affected by it and have a tendency to just let it go by as if it doesn’t matter when it really does.
We need to hold these guys are arms length and trust ourselves instead of them.

Well ,while everyone is deluded into great joy for Scott Brown,Washington (ALL) are doing their best to duck any
responsibility for the usurper we have in our White House and hope beyond hope we will forget about Mr Obama.I suggest that Patriots are awake now and it is up to us to keep pushing in
every way we can to get this fraud addressed.I understand this might get sticky but I must believe this fraud is the core issue and until the American people have their day in court nothing will change and it will continue “business as usual”.I say ALL incumbents (federal and state) need a career change.Let’s give it to them.

I got a survey today from Heritage Foundation, I used to belong, short of money now, so quit. But I just mailed this survey, as I read it I wrote on the top, please do me a favor, check out Steve Dunham, born in Mombase hospital in Kenya. I am interested in what they say, will they respond to me, or just tear it up and destroy it. Whatever, all I can say is God Bless all who care for our Great Nation and post here. God Bless America

Just listened to Gibbs and John Coryn from Texas, Gibbs must have caught the lying bug from Steve, he lies all the time, even this old lady caught several lies he was telling while being interviewed. The other one was a lot more truthful, but who to vote for, We are in a real snow storm here in Oregon, my son has about 8 inches of snow, here where I am about 3, so we stay in today. Not sure how today will end up. God Bless America
