Obama’s Empty Healthcare Victory

One major fantasy of American liberalism is the illusion that they get the last word. That the debate is over when they say it is. That their actions are irreversible, that their decisions and conclusions have both the firmness and the weight of the Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount, and the Eightfold Way combined, and that nothing in the human universe can ever reverse them once made. We have heard this concerning abortion, concerning climate change, and now, concerning health-care “reform”.
This is exactly the way that Roe v. Wade was unveiled in 1973 — both Warren Burger and Harry Blackmun, the tag team that put that one over, declared that there would be no controversy whatsoever and that a tidy round of state lawmaking would tie up the final loose ends. The actual conflagration that greeted the decision, and which continues to this day, left them and the liberal elite they represented utterly dumfounded.
All this reveals a profound misunderstanding of human nature, an almost childlike conviction that what the book says goes, that the rules are sacrosanct, and that if you’re in a position to make those rules — as American liberals like to think they are — then the common people simply have to do things your way.
That’s how it’s supposed to work with ObamaCare. Now that Congress has spoken, and the law is on the books, we’re supposed to line up and silently take our orders. Forget the chicanery, the sleazy side deals, forget the simple lack of constitutional legitimacy of the thing. It’s on the books now, so we have to obey. So says seventy years of modern liberalism.
Needless to say, nothing of the sort is going to happen. This battle has only started. Obama has his bill? Indeed he does — but along with it, he also has:
- Well over half the populace infuriated by the bill and the methods used to push it through. (Poll numbers range from the mid-50s to the lower 60s, depending on how the questions are worded. The latest CNN poll puts opposition at 59%.)
- Thirty-seven states considering laws forbidding the federal government from ordering their citizens to purchase health insurance. (Idaho has already passed such a provision.)
- A raft of lawsuit filings,beginning yesterday, attacking the bill on virtually every level from funding to the “reconciliation” process. (What a misnomer that is!) Many are based on very substantial grounds, and some have an excellent chance before the bench.
- A lengthy and convoluted series of actions that must be taken, beginning now, to assure that the provisions of the bill go into effect without breaking the budgetary barriers and revealing ObamaCare’s actual costs. Many are as controversial and unpopular as the bill itself. Chief among these is cutting Medicare benefits, which must be done sometime in the next few months. Need I say more?
- Obama’s personal and party poll numbers falling through the floor, as the Democrats shed not only the voters attracted by Obama in 2008, but those who had drifted in over the eight years of the Bush presidency. Independents, Reagan Democrats, liberal Republicans, floaters… all gone. As of this Monday, CNN puts his disapproval rate at 51%. We’ll see what seats the Dems can carry with the combined Move On/ACORN vote. (Well, it seems they can forget about the ACORN part too. You see how this works?)
It will get worse. The liberals have guaranteed as much with their shifty procedural methods along with such cute little schticks as delaying actual implementation until 2013 while beginning most new taxes after the November election. And the weight will fall on Obama himself. He owns the thing. It was his bill, it was his insistence that it go through, and it has his name on it. So the Messiah is going to be fighting this battle for the rest of his term. Nothing, short of a massive attack on the United States, is going to change that. First come the November elections. Then the Supreme Court case. Then the guerilla war in Congress, with the new kids, elected solely on the basis of rolling back Obama’s attempt to hijack the economy, entering office in January 2011. And throughout it all the continuous, everyday acts of defiance and contempt by the little platoons, the people who actually make up this country.
What does that leave Obama? Absolutely nothing. He will have no more opportunities. His hands will be full. He will be spending every last minute defending his major achievement, which he sees as his legacy. He will have time for nothing else. While he is otherwise involved, his crew of Chicago gangsters and career political hustlers will be roaming around cutting their own deals and making their own arrangements, further crippling his efforts and infuriating the public. Mark Steyn has suggested that the goal of ObamaCare is to institutionalize the left as America’s base political culture. Instead, Obama appears to be bringing it to ruination.
Harry Blackmun was the man who actually wrote the extremely flawed — in truth, legally empty — Roe decision. He spent the rest of his career defending it. He never accomplished anything else, never put his name on another notable decision, never became associated with any worthy legal doctrine. He deteriorated at last into an isolated, querulous figure, obsessed with Roe v. Wade and his role in seeing it into law. All to achieve no more than to permanently intertwine his name with the legal decision that came closer than any action since the Civil War to rending the country in twain.
So it will be with Obama. That’s what he has to look forward to, on a much wider stage and in a much shorter compass of time. It may well be that future historians will refer to his term as the short presidency– effectively brought to an end at his own initiative only fourteen months after it began. It remains up to us to make it so.

This article is well written. The moral of this story is that is now our job as citizens to PUSH Obama to the point of exhaustion, desperation and demoralization. Obama got a big ego boost with the passing of HIS bill. Now he has to implement it. Like JR says, this could take the rest of Obama’s career. We need to bury Obama with his own excrement. We have seen Obama before when he gets frustrated and bored. He is totally unwilling to accept criticism or responsibility for his failures. THAT is his Achilles heel. American Grand Jury will be pounding on Obama till the cows come home! Are you with us?

Attorney General Abbott has indicated he will file a civil suit to challenge the Constitutionality of the just signed ‘Mandatory Purchase of Private Health Insurance’ bill, arguing it encroaches on states’ rights by violating the Commerce Clause. But for several months now, he has had at his disposal a tool that is both much quicker and cheaper to combat this law, as well as any other legislation originating up Mr. Obama’s sinister sleeve. That is, he could investigate the dozens of charges of election fraud the citizens of the great state of Texas have already filed with his office.
And he can start just by submitting this request to Boyd Richie, Chair of the Texas Democratic Party:
“Please produce all documents which were the basis for the Official TDP Certification of Nomination you signed and then submitted to Texas election officials attesting that Presidential candidate Barack Obama was Constitutionally qualified for the job.”
Then, when Mr. Richie refuses to produce such documentation, AG Abbott can charge him with criminal election fraud. Simple as that.
I have no doubt that, on learning the Attorney General in the great state of Texas has filed criminal charges of election fraud against Mr. Richie, Congress will do the rest.

the lawmakers in my state Louisiana have found five provisions in this bill that are unconstitutional. now ‘bama may not like it but every representative from Louisiana voted against [his] chicanery. the AG from Louisiana is researching and will be going after this bill on grounds of unconstitutionality. once again ‘bama comes on tv and makes statements without taking questions from the studio audience. and the reason he does not take questions from the studio audience is because he is a habitual liar. also the fox news poll is not scientific.

I like Fox, I have learned so much about the founders and watch them daily. Fox has been purchased by Muslims, maybe these hosts were threatened, if I was threatened I would probably obey the rules also. Gee, think I could live on what they have earned and live a comfortable life for the rest of my life. I refuse to watch Fox because of News Corp.’s, the parent company, presense and support for Syria…we all know what Syria has done to our troops in Iraq. It’s for real! In the next week, or two tops, every governor in each State will be served! They will each be given 72 hours where they can swear an oath to uphold the State and United States Constitution, OR they can step down, OR be arrested and removed! Once all governors have been served then the Military and Supreme Court will be given their documents. The Military is on board and are waiting for this! The declarations were written based on certain things the military told them they must have in the declarations. They have been on board from the start! There will be lots of changes restoring this country back to constitutional order. Most of these things will happen behind the scenes without any media coverage. We are taking our country back! There are a LOT of changes coming and this plan will take several years for everything to unfold, but many things will change immediately and within the first 12 months.

OK, you can listen to the entire recording at this link.
This is a 4 hour and 33 minute recording. The part you want starts at the 3 hour and 11 minute mark into the recording.
When the recording starts, you will see a little bar that starts loading across as the recording is going. Once that bar loads completely then you can point your mouse on the bar about 75% across towards the end and click it. This is a 4 hour and 33 minute recording. The part you want starts at the 3 hour and 11 minute mark into the recording.

Once you click on the link you must click in the box to the right…..the buffering begins and then you slide the little bar to the right….when you get to 3hours and 11 minutes you stop and start listening…..Dave lays out what is coming down….anyway as much as he can…..he says there is a lot he can’t talk about yet…..the Foreclosure stuff is part of this…..I read about the foreclosure stuff months ago……something about many people being scammed into taking our loans and then once the papers were completed and signed lenders and the middle man would go in and change the creditors numbers so they could get more money out of them…..the documents of course will have to be produced in a court of law to show that you were one of them scammed……I heard there are hundreds of people who this was illegally done to!!

Jacqlyn….The foreclosure crisis goes much deeper than that. Most loans are fraudulent. These lenders foreclosing can’t produce the original wet ink signature note the customer signed and most of them no longer own the loan as they were all sold off.
Another thing people don’t understand is how banking really works and how it is the borrowers that are really the creditors and banks are really the debtors. It is YOUR signature that creates the money. The bank never loaned a dime of their own money. They need YOUR signature to create the money out of thin air. Instead of just giving you YOUR money you created with your signature they have been scamming people by loaning them back what was always theirs and charging them interest. People need to really research and study up on all this because nothing is what the averager person was taught to believe.

Same here with my husband; he listened to the audio on the GOTFR website, but has not listened to this one yet. But he felt this was bogus. I tend to have that skepticism, too, but I’m still hopeful at the same time:o) These people sound like they’ve done their good duty in the service of their country, and have been given the means and grace by the Lord God above, to carry out this process. May my Father & Lord allow it to be so and by His power and grace keep freedom alive in this corrupt world.
I’ve been praying and asking my Saviour if there is any good news out there for our country, and then you guys give us this:o) Praise the Lord!!!!

Paula….I don’t believe it is bogus…..if you listen to the audio of Dr. Sam Kennedy he explains that one year ago they took up the discussions with high ranking military….so I would say if the military is behind it they mean business….he also alluded to the idea that the FRAUD will be taken out….he didn’t come right out and say it but that is the impression I got….all of this is going to take time but the declarations are in place with the Governors, the Supreme Court and the military…..if there is a will there is a way…..we will restore our republic!!!

First of all, this isn’t MY group. I had nothing to do with forming it. I am merely reporting what is being reported.
Also, this group is NOT about just Obama! This is about restoring America back under the 1887 Constitution.
From what I heard, it was some of these leaders in this group that were approached by some high brass military! The mitiltary approached THEM! The military told them everything they must have in order for them to act! Without it they can’t do anything! That is what the declaration is for! This group wrote up this declaration and it includes everything in it that they were told by the military that they have to have in order for them to be able to act!
This is why they needed x number of signatures from each and every State to sign onto this. The military required it!
Will this all down as they are saying? I have no idea! But I do know of a couple of people involved in this and they are known very well by thousands across the country as being very honorable men. THAT is what makes me feel good about this, because of the reputation of a couple of these guys involved.
A lot of people are concerned this is a trap to get these people together and round them up. Who knows? We can only pray that what they have been told by certain high brass military is true! From what they are reporting we shall find out soon enough. Whatever is going to happen is going to start here in a matter of weeks!
What I do know is these men have really stuck their necks out on this.
As for Obama, I do not know what their plans are for that. They haven’t said, They know he is not legit. They won’t address him as the POTUS. Only Mr. Obama. The guy on that call did say this was not about going in tomorrow and just removing Obama. So what the plan is for addressing that issue I do not know. I can only imagine they have something planned though. They also said the Whitehouse knows this is coming and that is the reason they had to hurry and cram this healthcare bill through. I guess they think by passing any bills no matter what happens with this it wouldn’t matter or something. Or maybe they just don’t think anything will happen? Who knows. All I know is I hope this happens!

Yeah I also think they are legit. Sorry I got so carried away last night, but it was just too exciting and I couldn’t help myself. From the recordings I heard, I think it’s real, but hey I could be wrong and have been before so we shall see. BECAUSE they didn’t give specifics on Obama, I believe them. If they were just a fring type group, they would come out and say they were going to arrest him, etc., in my opinion.

I have said from day one that the ONLY way the USURPER will be removed is by our Military. I hope what is being said by this group is the truth but I have my doubts it all sounds to good to be true. I have said that the military will act to remove the USURPER and his band of thugs but my prediction was Barry Soetoro would do something that is a DIRECT unlawful order to the military and it would be at that time that they will have to AUTHORITY to remove him.
I will PRAY that everything that is being said about the Governors being involved and that the military will move in soon to start the recovery of our freedoms come true soon.

I remember when Indians were tricked by govt. into believing everything was COMPLETELY under control - no worries govt. told the Native Americans, as the govt. loaded them up into trains AFTER taking ALL their weapons. Then hilter & now hitler jr……who can declare marshal law at anytime within the 12 months this group promises all 50 Govenors will be given their ultimatums…….Somebody show me the law which states any usurper must be removed AFTER all 50 state Govenors face arrest. It won’t be within 12 months the governors are served. The Governors are being served on Monday. Now some may not be able to be served on that day if they are not in office or something, but they should all be served with the next 12 days, not months.
The part that will take several years will be to carry out the full plan of restoring everything back to normal. It took them 200 years to get it to this point. You can’t restore everything overnight, especially if you want to do it peacefully and not create riots across the country.

Bravehart…..I don’t know who exactly three of those elders are, but I do know who Tim Turner is and he is not some left wing communist. This man has spent the last several years non stop traveling across the country educating people and they have been working on bankrupting the corrupt courts, having Judges removed, removing lawyers, etc. These people are taking their bonds which prevent them from practicing their trades and bankrupting them with multi-hundred million dollar maritime liens being placed against them.

#93Braveheart ….I don’t know that there is a law about the usurper being removed after the Governors receive their declarations but I do think the de jure grand juries have the right to reclaim the authority that was stolen from the people when they set up the de facto corporations……these guardians have done their homework and it appears to me have gone to great lengths to figure out how we can get our republic back without resorting to violence…..I am joining the cause and will help them whatever way I can…..I agree that we need to forgive those who know not what they do…..and that could be many…..I have family that are still supporting the FRAUD so I must forgive them…..they were duped just like millions of other folks!!

Can you EVEN imagine all the rioting and craziness that would happen IF the Military went into the WH and carried out the Illegal Usurper?! Don’t get me wrong. I would love nothing more than for what they are saying to be true. That is what i took from that letter - that there is no need to do anything more. No need to demonstrate, petition etc. I am just scared to death literally and i don’t trust anything at this point. Why haven’t the military just gone in and removed him already? What MORE do they need him to do to this country as far as destroying it. Our military has always gone overseas to help other countries win the fight against freedom. Now we need our military to help us this time! PLEASE HELP US! I feel as though i am going to have a nervous breakdown over all this. I feels like a nightmare. The twilight zone. My husband doesn’t grasp the grave danger we are in and he thinks i have gone off the deep end. He thinks i am obsessed and i am taking this stuff way too far. I see people everywhere just going around every day with their heads stuck in the clouds like everything is just hunky dory. I want to scream to them don’t you know what the hell is happening to us? All these people can talk about is what is on American Idol or Dancing with the stars or the lates thing they bought at Target! Who gives a S(*&!

It just seems wierd (cultish) to call yourselves GOTFR and then to call the leaders (4 of them, if I’m not mistaken) elders. When I listened to the web radio talk by Dave in TX on the phone call answering people’s questions and giving what info. he could, to me he sounds level headed and wise. But, if someone could please tell what is it with the Guardians and Elders thing? I have some trouble with that. But everything else they say sounds like they’ve done their homework and are moving forward wisely (wise as serpents, harmless as doves).

I have felt some of what you have, as well. This is beyond believable to me that our country has been fooled to the extent that it has, and that we are facing a crisis in this nation, and that even some conservatives do not comprehend or see the dangers ahead.
I don’t know if you’re a saved Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, but through all of this, I can still sleep at night and I have peace, because I am saved and I believe God’s Word. However, I do struggle with all that is happening, because I have 4 children that I love and want the best for. All I can do is pray, speak the truth, and share with others the dangers that I see. Ultimately, I put my life in the hands of the Lord and seek to be led of Him by sound doctrine that the Lord Jesus gave to the Apostle Paul for the Body of Christ, written down in Romans through Philemon. God’s grace and peace is to all who believe and trust the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all their sins.
Even if you’re already a Believer, may you trust the Lord Jesus and God the Father to bring you through this. This is what I am having to do, too, because I am so mournful and downcast at what is happening in our country, although I still have the joy of the Lord!

For those Saved and in Christ here at AGJ:
I was talking with a pastor/teacher about what is happening in this country and how as a Believer, God would have us to respond in such situtations. He reminded me about these scriptures and then commented on them. I found them to be helpful and to examine whether or not I was walking in the Spirit of the Lord:
1 Tim 2:1-10… I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved , and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. 8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting. 9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array; 10 But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
Titus 3:1-8…Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates , to be ready to every good work, 2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men. 3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived , serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared , 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done , but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly , that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.
Here is a verse that ALL of us saints ought to be convicted about! I myself, and those who I talk to both in and out of my assembly, all have had to work on this! But we OUGHT to work on it because God instructs us to NOT SPEAK EVIL OF OUR LEADERS! We are not to speak evil of THEM (not their deeds…we are to reprove their evils deeds), but we are not to call them derogatory names or disrespect their office in any way! We are not to fight against them, but we are to be GENTLE with them, with all meekness! What is meekness? Paul defines it in Gal 6.
Gal 6:1…Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted .
Notice how Paul defines meekness. He defines it by “considering thyself”, lest ye ALSO be tempted to do evil! In other words, he is saying that but by the Grace of God, YOU could be that evil person…and you WERE in time past before you were saved and sanctified by God’s Word! That is what Paul goes onto say in Titus 3:3.
Tit 3:3…For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived , serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.
Paul says that the same way those lost, heathen gentiles who are in authority are acting, we too, in the eyes of God, use to (and for some of us, still) act the same! So because of that fact, we Christians are to have an attitude of meekness towards our lost leaders, considering ourselves and our OWN sinfulness!
Pray more for our leaders that we may live a quiet and peacable life. Let the anger go, and let God deal with these leaders as we pray for them.

I too am a believer and share these same values that you speak of, however the Bible has many lessons and passages that apply to what we are now faced with. Through out history God has required his People to rise up in Richeous anger against those that would enslave them. Certainly the most memorable one is Jericho. I would suggest that you read the 13Th Chapter of Deuteronomy as a starter then follow your concordance through the Bible and see just how many times through out the Bible that God commanded his People to rise up to smite his Enemies.God also expects us as Stewards of the Faith to not be fooled by false Prophets that have no conscience.We as Christians were admonished by Paul to put on the Whole Armour of God .The book of Revelations is filled with examples of just what I speak. He does not expect us to be led as Sheep to the slaughter. He expects us to defend his word with all our might.After all to some of us WE are still a Christian Nation.Godspeed my Friend

I have to weigh in on the GOTFR. I don’t buy any of it. I am suspicious and I think it could be a trap. We are in for a long haul. Stay vigilant and prepare yourselves for the worst.

I think you should listen to the audio you are taking what was said out on context. What they were saying is they do not need any more jurors and that plans are in place to return our nation back to what our founding fathers intended. I didn’t take it that they were saying stop everything. The audio goes into much detail before you cast this off as a hoax at least listen to the audio presentation. I am a bit skeptical too but will admit after I listened to the audio I will not pass judgment on this till I at least give them the few weeks to see if any of this “plan” happens from what I understand in a few weeks things should begin to happen.

After listening(along with another fellow patriot as well as my husband), HUGE red flags are going off!!!
God gives us discernment, and we must listen to it.
The term Guardian Elders gave us all the creeps! I for on will not buy into any group that gives me those feelings. We are all so weary of the criminal regime that is our gov’t, but please be cautious of any one individual or group that says it is all going to change and all you now have to do is set back, relax and watch it happen.
