Officer who refused orders from Obama chain of command seeking birth records
A decorated Army officer who faces the possibility of years in jail because he refused orders from the military chain of command under Obama, citing the president’s refusal to prove his authority to issue orders, is asking to see evidence that Obama is eligible for the Oval Office.
The request comes from Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, who earlier posted a video challenging the military to bring him to trial on charges he refused to deploy to the Middle East in an effort to force the revelation of Obama’s birth documentation.
The Army responded by filing charges against him and rewriting a performance evaluation to condemn him for his efforts.
But now Lakin, who is aided by the Safeguard our Constitution website, is asking for a deposition in Hawaii with the records-keeper of the Hawaii Department of Health – and the production of all of the state’s records concerning Obama.
The controversy stems from the Constitution, Article 2, Section 1, which states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President.” .
A number of challenges and lawsuits have been based on the constitutional requirement, some alleging Obama does not qualify because he was not born in Hawaii in 1961 as he claims. Others say he fails to qualify because he was a dual citizen of the U.S. and the United Kingdom when he was born, and the framers of the Constitution specifically excluded dual citizens from eligibility.
Complicating the issue is the fact that besides Obama’s actual birth documentation, he has concealed documentation, including his kindergarten records, Punahou school records, Occidental College records, Columbia University records, Columbia thesis, Harvard Law School records, Harvard Law Review articles, scholarly articles from the University of Chicago, passport, medical records, files from his years as an Illinois state senator, Illinois State Bar Association records, baptism records and his adoption records.
Now Lakin is facing a court-martial and as part of his defense wants the information from the state of Hawaii. According to the American Patriot Foundation, Lakin’s request was submitted to his commanding general. He seeks approval for the Hawaii deposition – an on-the-record statement – regarding Obama’s birth records.
“The records Lakin seeks have been the subject of intense interest ever since the closing days of the 2008 presidential campaign when a document appeared on the Internet purporting to be a certification that Hawaii’s Dept. of Health had records showing he had been born in Honolulu,” the foundation confirmed.
Since then, Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the head of that agency, has made public statements on the subject, but has refused all requests for copies of the actual records in the department’s custody. Recently, a former Hawaii elections clerk has come forward saying that “he was told that the department’s records showed Obama was NOT born in Hawaii.”
“The United States Constitution requires that a person be a ‘natural born citizen’ to be elected to the presidency. If Mr. Obama was not born in Honolulu as he has claimed, then he is unlikely to be a ‘natural born citizen.’ An examination of the records kept by the Hawaii Dept. of Health are an essential first step in ascertaining Mr. Obama’s constitutional eligibility to hold the office to which he was elected in 2008,” the foundation said.
The issue of the Hawaii records has been a volatile point in the argument. The state of Hawaii has gone so far a to approve a law that allows the state to ignore repeated requests for documentation about Obama’s birth.
The state’s governor, Linda Lingle, just months ago told a New York talk-show host that it was an “odd situation…”
“This issue kept coming up so much in the campaign, and again I think it’s one of those issues that is simply a distraction from the more critical issues that are facing the country…”

Soetoro has became so emboldened with his criminal deeds that I fear for LTC Lakins life and Family. I hold little hope that any Military Court will grant any type of discovery on LTC Lakin’s behalf. With the aid of the corrupt Judges and the complicit Media, Soetoro is in the final stages of completely enslaving the American People. With the exception of the voices here at AGJ and a few other sites it appears he will do it with out so much as a whimper from those Sheep he intends to strip of their Freedom. So we continue to be a voice crying in the wilderness of stupidity and sloth to a Nation that is spiraling headlong into the Abyss of Tyranny. I for one will not go quietly , nor do I suspect any of my Fellow Patriots here will do the same.We have been betrayed by the very last hope that our Military would stand with us,and now they too are beguiled by this Devil in skin. I pray to the Lord God in Heaven that he will cause the scales to fall from their eyes before its too late.

I am not,in any way,concerned about the well being of anyone who
stands in opposition to our present situation,not because I believe there are not corrupt individuals who would do harm,but simply because each and everyone of us have a limited number of
days in this mortal life.Having said this,reminds me of a statement of “There is nothing to fear,but fear itself” I believe LTC Lakin is well aware of this,but refuses to buckle under,to the outrage of his own associates.Yes,there is a veil that keeps folks from seeing and understanding what is happening around us,but just as Bob Campbell has done something,that I have heard no mention of,even on this very site,the veil is still present.So what has given me peace ?.The fact,that GOD simply,does not,make mistakes.Wrap your brain,around that,and get back to me. cheers

Why doesn’t Lakin’s attorney subpoena the Western Kentucky professor who says Obama is not an American citizen? At the very least, it would create some doubt in the minds of the judges presiding over the court martial.

The above statement from the article is of concern to me. Am I reading this wrong or do they think that if he was found to have been born in Hawaii (which we know he wasn’t), that that automatically qualifies him to be a ‘natural born citizen’? I sure hope that they understand that even if he had a birth certificate (which there is NOT one), that he never could be a ‘natural born citizen’ due to his father’s Kenyan/British citizenship.
LTC Lakin is who all school children need to be celebrating as a true American Hero and should be singing his praises in their schools. He’s what America really stands for…I’ll sing his praises to the highest heavens always!

He has admitted his father was born in Kenya, his mother in Kansas, he inherited his father’s nationality by right of birth, his mother too young to pass her nationality to him. So, he is a dual citizen, I don’t think America allows dual citizens to become presidents? Not sure? GOD BLESS AMERICA

I am in total agreement with you, LtCol Lakin should be everyone’s hero but he is not. Only the people that truly know what is happening in this country and what has been going on for the last 160 years are able to recognize what this man has chosen to do for all Americans where ever they are.. It infuriates me and I just want to scream or worse. His picture should be scotch taped to our refrigerator door and that would help us to remember to pray for him and his family. you know these vile NWO people would not hesitate to kill any of his family if they thought that would buy him off.
The sad fact that more than half of the people in this country wouldn’t know who he was and wouldn’t care. Neither would they know who Fitzpatrick was. I would wager a bet that half of the people in Tennessee or more don’t know who Fitzpatrick is or what he is going through.
It is sickening and I am angry all over again. It seems that lately I am angry, incensed,furious or all three all of the time. I am loosing patience with these dodo heads I run into that have absolutely no idea what is happening in this country and they are all involved with their silly little lives as if they lived in the Alice in Wonderland with the Mad Hatter and the Queen of hearts.
They have no idea what they have done and they think that all this stuff the liar in chief is doing is good for them but just wait until TSHTF they will be the first one screaming and blaming it on Bush.

Gumply, you describe exactly how I feel too, my friend. If there was a pill I could take or for that matter a cure for the BHO disease, I’d take it now. Wouldn’t it be great if we were to wake up one day and discover that this was all just a horrible dream.

Are we here being forced to understand, that if a person steals his way into the presidency, then once in, he/she are beyond question, or public scrutiny? Further, in all appearances, U.S. citizens, law firms, or legal body’s such as the American Grand Jury can’t EVER have legal standing, and are being barred access to the courts to question the usurper’s thievery. I’d have to say, something is terribly, terribly wrong, and in dire need of repair.
