WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Arizona, told a townhall meeting in Kingman yesterday he is considering a lawsuit to establish Barack Obama’s eligibility for the presidency.
Franks said there is conflicting evidence on the question of Obama’s status as a “natural born citizen.”
His allusion to the possibility of a lawsuit forcing release of Obama’s original, long-form birth certificate is as far as any member of Congress has gone on this issue.
The eligibility issue was one of the hottest topics at the town hall meeting that included concerns about national defense, stimulus spending, health-care bills and the “cash-for-clunkers” program.
Franks said it would take 34,000 years to pay off the indebtedness incurred by the Obama administration.
Demand the truth by joining the petition campaign to make President Obama reveal his long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate!
Some 950 people attended the boisterous event in a local church.

Franks later backed off the eligibility statement. Rep. Patrick McHenry did the same thing a week ago. This seems to be a pattern. How many other pols have done the same? My guess is the Republican Party is warning them away from the subject of Obama’s eligibility.

Glenn Beck Special Show All this wk - EVERYONE needs to watch the Glenn Beck show everyday this week…..he has had groups of people working to get to the bottom of who is behind the stimulus bill and everything that this administration is doing to destroy our country…..it shows who the Czars are….most of whom are socialists or communists….they are working directly with the president….going around the House and the Senate…..Glenn is tying it all together, and we have got to be aware of not only what they are doing but how they are doing it. It is very frightening what is happening to our country and will continue to happen if we aren’t prepared to deal with all of these things.

The real Legal question that needs to be addressed is the FACT that Obama admits that his Citizenshiop was “governed” by Great Britain at his birth due to his father’s Kenyan Citizenship. Natural Born citizen is a person born in the US to 2 Citizen parents, thus Obama is Not a Natural Born Citizen, no matter where he was born.

OUR Constitution Clearly states, The Parents, Boyh Mother and Father Must be Natural Born Citizens.
What is So Confusing about that ??? Obamas’ Father was a Citizen of Africa, his Mother gave up her citizenship. What’s so confusing about that ???
