President Usurper Barack Obama dismissed a recent poll showing that a third of Americans don’t know he’s a Christian – and blamed an online campaign of misinformation by his conservative enemies for perpetuating the myth that he’s a Muslim.

Obama, speaking with NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams on Sunday afternoon, was equally dismissive of conservative talk show host Glenn Beck – saying he didn’t watch the Fox host’s Saturday rally in Washington but wasn’t surprised that Beck was able to “stir up” people during uncertain economic times.

Williams, sitting under a tent in a rain-soaked New Orleans, where the First Family commemorated the fifth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, asked Obama why so many people were uncertain about something so fundamental as his faith.

“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” quipped Obama, who took a deep breath to gather his thoughts when asked if the poll reflected his inability to communicate with voters. [did he even answer the question asked by Williams? emphasis mine]

This crap is better than a soap-opera. Who writes Obama’s lines or hands the press such questions? The questions and answers border on classic “stupidity!” I like that word “stupidity.” I have been using it all day. The left believes whatever comes out of Obama’s mouth is gospel. I got news for them. They need to shut BO up. The left’s fearless leader has a habit of making things worse the minute he does open his mouth.

Damage control — pure damage control! That is all NBC and Politico are hoping to accomplish here. I hope they post more of this stuff. The elections are just around the corner. All the money in the world can’t buy such negative PR for the DEMS. No wonder the candidates are suddenly “not available” when Obama comes to town.

The parents of an American soldier in Afghanistan have accused the U.S. government of leaving defenders of its freedoms without basics such as blankets, food, feminine hygiene supplies and even bullets, according to a report from Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

“One of my soldiers went without ammo for five weeks once they got to Afghanistan because of shortages. I can’t reveal the name, because they are frightened of reprisals. If they can do what they did to a four star general like [Gen. Stanley A.] McChrystal, what would they do to a buck private?”

That comes from a woman who, with her husband, has taken it upon herself to adopt soldiers and provide them with many of the needed basics.

The woman, assigned a pseudonym of “Beth,” insisted her name not be used because of the possibility of reprisals against her or the soldiers.

But she told WND she received a report that a U.S. soldier bought a $15 knife “and slept with their hand on the handle in the waist of their pants because it was all they had for the moment to protect themselves.”

The woman confirmed she and her husband are involved in supplying the basic necessities for some 50 soldiers – because the military isn’t.

“If the military doesn’t supply what they need, they must depend on family or people like me,” Beth said. “Many of these families are struggling on low wages, some parents are on disabilities and unable to help. Sending a box once a month during their deployment is not only good for their morale, but they need (to be) resupplied with many items.”

The Pentagon did not respond to a request for comment on the allegations. But one soldier told Beth the work days are 18 hours long, and they have few “real meals.”

NEW YORK — An advocacy group is calling for the ouster of former Sen. Alan Simpson, the co-chairman of President Obama’s bipartisan debt commission, who described Social Security as a “milk cow with 310 million tits!” in an email.

Ashley Carson, executive director of the Older Women’s League, wrote in a blog post in April that Simpson is targeting Social Security to fix the deficit even though it “doesn’t contribute” to the country’s debt problem. She also accused Simpson of “disgusting ageism and sexism” in characterizing those who oppose cuts to benefits as “Gray Panthers” and “Pink Panthers.”

In his email to Carson, which was sent Monday night, Simpson said he is defending Social Security, not trying to undermine it, and referred her to information showing the program’s long-range shortfalls.

He went on: “I’ve made some plenty smart cracks about people on Social Security who milk it to the last degree. You know ‘em too. It’s the same with any system in America. We’ve reached a point now where it’s like a milk cow with 310 million tits! Call when you get honest work!”

On Wednesday afternoon, Simpson released a letter to Carson apologizing. “I can see that my remarks have caused you anguish, and that was not my intention,” he wrote.

Simpson, a former Republican senator from Wyoming, is well known for his salty language and down-home analogies when debating policy. His remarks have made him a target for critics of Social Security reform, who have called for his resignation before.

What do you want me to say? This is funny and serious at the same time. You can take this to the bank: Obama has some real “looney birds” working for him.

There has to be term for it, the word or words just don’t enter my mind at the moment. Amid the ruins of our economy Obama finds time to dine at posh resorts, travel in the most expensive surroundings and play golf at the finest retreats — so goes it for California. In the year of the worst recession and budget crisis California has ever known it is time to show the world that “we still got style” — out with the old and in with the new: how about a $578 millions dollar school to appease the masses?

LOS ANGELES – Next month’s opening of the Robert F. Kennedy Community Schools will be auspicious for a reason other than its both storied and infamous history as the former Ambassador Hotel, where the Democratic presidential contender was assassinated in 1968.

With an eye-popping price tag of $578 million, it will mark the inauguration of the nation’s most expensive public school ever.

The K-12 complex to house 4,200 students has raised eyebrows across the country as the creme de la creme of “Taj Mahal” schools, $100 million-plus campuses boasting both architectural panache and deluxe amenities.

“There’s no more of the old, windowless cinderblock schools of the ’70s where kids felt, ‘Oh, back to jail,’” said Joe Agron, editor-in-chief of American School & University, a school construction journal. “Districts want a showpiece for the community, a really impressive environment for learning.”

Not everyone is similarly enthusiastic.

The State of California delays the paying of $2.9 billion of subsidies to schools and counties in September, a month earlier than projected, to save cash amid an impasse that has left the state without a budget for 54 days.

California began its fiscal year on July 1 without a spending plan after Republican Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Democrats who lead the Legislature remained deadlocked over how to fill a $19 billion deficit. Controller John Chiang has warned he may need to issue IOUs within two weeks to pay for everything from supplies to contracted services and health-care costs if the impasse continues into next month.

“This is the salt in the wound,” said Rick Pratt, assistant executive director of the West Sacramento-based California School Boards Association, which represents districts statewide. “It’s the state taking its cash flow problem and making it a school district problem,” he said. He said deferrals from previous years have raised costs while the state has cut aid.

Duh, any budget deficit is the problem of ALL State Departments, INCLUDING the Schools — it is like the blind leading the blind around California.

Looking back I remember the brand new high school I attended in Georgia in the late 60’s. It was state of the art, cost about 2 or 3 million and had around 3,200 students. I also remember that most students who graduated could read and write.

*** In the “land of the fruit-loops” many who attend this new monstrosity of a school will be illegals, they can’t read or write once graduating and they will need guards, bars and scanning machines to keep the drugs out and the students in. Times have sure changed!

Former Vice President Gore is calling for major rallies to protest congressional inaction on climate change.

In a post on his personal blog headlined “The Movement We Need,” Gore linked to and quoted from an Australian wire service report that “tens of thousands of protesters … have taken to the streets across Australia to urge the major political parties to take action on climate change.”

“Across the world, when politicians fail to take action to solve the climate crisis, people are taking action,” Gore wrote.

He added after excerpting the news report: “It is my hope we see activism like this here in the United States.”

Gore noted he trained activists in Australia to deliver the slideshow that formed the basis for the documentary film that won him an Academy Award. A representative of Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection addressed the rally in Sydney.

Gore has in recent weeks stepped up his criticism of the Senate for its inability to pass a comprehensive energy and climate bill that would put a price on carbon. In a conference call with environmental activists last week, he reportedly said “the United States government in its entirety, largely because of the opposition in the United States Senate to taking action on clean energy and a solution to the climate crisis, has failed us.”

Just when you thought this snake was in permanent hibernation he slithers out of his hole. God forbid we have to listen to the likes of Al “Climate Control” Gore. Obama and Pelosi are all we can stand right now.

In the article it talks about the documentary that won an Academy Award for Gore — what a rotten piece of work that was — an entire file whose premise was based on now proven fictional data.

The comprehensive energy and climate bill that Gore is talking about is CAP and TRADE. If passed, all trade credits will go through the Chicago Climate Exchange set up by supporters of Obama (Valerie Jarrett) and good ol’ Al Gore. Gore and his pals, including Obama, are expected to pocket Billions upon Billions of dollars. This is all about money folks through government control of energy — it has nothing to do with improving the environment.

What is CCX, the Chicago Climate Exchange, projected to gross 10 Trillion a year if Cap-N-Tax passes. … Valerie Jarrett is still on the board, Obama’s top adviser. … Gore, Goldman, and Cap and Trade - Tangled Web of Corruption …

The liberal retards that buy this crap are especially prone to having their heads up their proverbial butts!
