American Grand Jury and the Star Spangled Banner
July 4th, 2009
Greetings to All,
This year I am blessed with having worked with such a fine group of members and readers. Our little American Grand Jury experiment has turned into something to forever be proud of. Our work is not done and our friendship has just started.
I would like to wish all of you and your families the best Independence Day.
Many people have never taken the time to actually read the “Star Spangled Banner.” You should take the time now. This masterpiece is truly God inspired.
“The Star Spangled Banner”
The Defense of Fort McHenry
by Francis Scott Key
20 September 1814
Oh, say can you see, by the dawn’s early light, What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming? Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight, O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming? And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air, Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there. O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?
On the shore, dimly seen through the mists of the deep, Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes, What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep, As it fitfully blows, now conceals, now discloses? Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam, In full glory reflected now shines on the stream: ‘Tis the star-spangled banner! O long may it wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
And where is that band who so vauntingly swore That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion A home and a country should leave us no more? Their blood has wiped out their foul footstep’s pollution. No refuge could save the hireling and slave From the terror of flight, or the gloom of the grave: And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Oh! thus be it ever, when freemen shall stand Between their loved homes and the war’s desolation! Blest with victory and peace, may the heaven-rescued land Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation. Then conquer we must, for our cause it is just, And this be our motto: “In God is our trust.” And the star-spangled banner forever shall wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!
God Bless the United States of America!
God Bless each and every one of you!

The words of our national anthem are beautiful and gives Americans pride. Too bad our country has to be tarnished by that evil usurper who wants to change everything American stands for. I really am hopeful that one day that someone in the judiciary or prosecutor or whoever that will have the courage to stand up to that usurper and have him arrested.

Bob,see if Carl or maybe even Chalice and people over there can get the GJ Presentments to a couple servicemen in this article—- excerpts– On May 1st at Fort Hood in central Texas, Specialist Victor Agosto wrote on a counseling statement, which is actually a punitive U.S. Army memo:
“There is no way I will deploy to Afghanistan. The occupation is immoral and unjust. It does not make the American people any safer. It has the opposite effectTen days later, he refused to obey a direct order from his company commander to prepare to deploy and was issued a second counseling statement. On that one he wrote, “I will not obey any orders I deem to be immoral or illegal.”On May 27th, rejecting an Article 15 — a nonjudicial punishment imposed by a commanding officer who believes a member of his command has committed an offense under the Uniform Code of Military Justice — Agosto demanded to be court-martialed.
According to Agosto, the Army has now begun the court martial process, but has not yet set a trial date. Bishop, too, awaits a possible court martial.
On June 1st, a day when four U.S. soldiers were killed in Afghanistan, Agosto told me in a phone call from Fort Hood, “I haven’t had to disobey any orders lately. A sergeant asked me if it’d be okay if I had to follow orders, and I said no, and they didn’t force it.”
Agosto and Bishop are hardly alone U.S. Army Specialist André Shepherd joined the Army on January 27, 2004He, too, has refused further military service because he feels morally opposed to the occupation of Iraq. While he awaits word from the German government and is still technically AWOL, Shepherd is being supported by Courage to Resist, a group based in Oakland, California, which actively assists soldiers who refuse to deploy to Iraq or Afghanistan. http://www.tomdispatch.com/post/175090/dahr_jamail_a_secret_history_of_dissent_in_the_all_volunteer_military

I believe the Iraq war was a good war. Now Iraqis are free and are an American ally.
The Aghganistan war is also a good war. We have to fight terrorism, we have no choice. Wars are a lesser evil to fight a bigger evil. We cannot let terrorism win. Their goal is to destroy the Western Civilization and install a Caliphate with Sharia law all over the world. This must be stopped at all prices.
