Hussein ObamaA Pakistani newspaper is quoting one of the country’s ministers as stating he wants President Obama to offer Muslim prayers at Ground Zero and become the “Caliph,” or ruler, of the Islamic nation.

“The coming Eid would expectedly be observed on 9/11; this a golden opportunity for President Obama to offer Eid prayers at Ground Zero and become Amir-ul-Momineen or Caliph of Muslims. In this way, all the problems of Muslim World would be solved,” stated Minister of State for Industries and Productions Ayatullah Durrani, according to Pakistan’s The Nation newspaper.

The newspaper reported Durrani called its offices and argued the Muslim world was in “dire need” of a supreme leader and that the position would earn Obama the exemplary titles of what Durrani termed “Mullah Barrack Hussain (sic) Obama,” or “Allama Obama.”

“The time is approaching fast. Barrack Hussain Obama must act now. This is a golden opportunity, Muslims badly need it,” added Durrani, according to the newspaper.

Duranni reportedly stated that Obama becoming supreme Islamic leader would be the “key to success.”

Comment by American Grand Jury:

ZERO would do well in that role. He is such a weenie that all Muslims would bow down and lick his feet if he were the Alla-wamma-bama..

The really important stories covering the Ground Zero Mosque and Pastor Jones have been beat to death.

I plan on publishing some nice memorial stories on our website tomorrow, September 11, 2010, in remembrance of those who lost their lives.

In the mean time here are three “suckie” [is that a word?] stories for Friday.

1) Tri-C students recruited to fill the seats for Obama’s appearance

PARMA, Ohio – With less than an hour before President Obama’s scheduled speech, 75 seats remained empty in the recreation center at Cuyahoga Community College’s Western Campus.

So organizers went around campus and recruited more students to fill the seats.

Student Jennifer Rahal, of Parma Heights, whose class was canceled today, was working on her art work in the coffee shop in the basement of the building when the call went out for more.

After dropping off their stuff at a bag check, the newly invited guests cleared security and filed into the gym.

Comment by AGJ: Pretty “suckie” if you are an BO fan!

2) Calif judge to stop ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ policy

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A federal judge said she will issue an order to halt the military’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, after she declared the ban on openly gay service members unconstitutional.

U.S. District Judge Virginia Phillips ruled Thursday that the prohibition on openly gay military service members was unconstitutional because it violates the First and Fifth Amendment rights of gays and lesbians.

The policy doesn’t help military readiness and instead has a “direct and deleterious effect” on the armed services by hurting recruitment efforts during wartime and requiring the discharge of service members who have critical skills and training, she said.

The Log Cabin Republicans sued the federal government in 2004 to stop the policy. Phillips will draft the injunction with input from the group within a week, and the federal government will have a week to respond.

Government lawyers said the judge lacked the authority to issue a nationwide injunction.

The U.S. Department of Justice can appeal the ruling but the government has not announced what it intends to do.

Comment by AGJ: The U.S. Government according to the world of Holder and Obama won’t do a damn thing. They actively want the gays and fags to serve in the Military. VERY SUCKIE!

3) Pa. mayor to take immigration law to Supreme Court

HAZLETON, Pa. – A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that Hazleton, Pa., may not enforce its crackdown on illegal immigrants, dealing another blow to 4-year-old regulations that inspired similar measures around the country. The city’s mayor pledged to take the case to the Supreme Court.

The 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Philadelphia said that Hazleton’s Illegal Immigration Relief Act USURPED the federal government’s exclusive power to regulate immigration.

“It is … not our job to sit in judgment of whether state and local frustration about federal immigration policy is warranted. We are, however, required to intervene when states and localities directly undermine the federal objectives embodied in statutes enacted by Congress,” wrote Chief Judge Theodore McKee.

Hazleton, a northeastern Pennsylvania city of more than 30,000, had sought to fine landlords who rent to illegal immigrants and deny business permits to companies that give them jobs.

Mayor Lou Barletta had pushed the measures in 2006 after two illegal immigrants were charged in a fatal shooting. The Republican mayor argued that illegal immigrants brought drugs, crime and gangs to the city of more than 30,000 and overwhelmed police, schools and hospitals.

“Hazleton was the first, and became the symbol of hope for many around the country,” he said at a news conference after the ruling was released by the appeals court on its website.

“Since I proposed this law more than four years ago, we have seen the growing frustration all across the country,” he said, a nod to similar measures in Arizona, Farmers Branch, Texas and Valley Park, Mo.

Comment by AGJ: Another “suckie” court ruling. These liberals that live and die on the bench are worse than traitors. If I hear another word about protecting the illegals or the Muslims in this Country I am going to throw-up all over a photo of Barack Obama. That should be a really suckie event. Maybe I could get a court ruling on that?

Fla. pastor, imam at odds over Quran-burning deal

By Antonio GonzalezSource: AP source, Report by Antonio Gonzales on MyWay

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Will he or won’t he? Negotiations between a local Muslim cleric and the leader of a tiny Florida church who had threatened to publicly burn copies of Islam’s holy text left the heated debate in a state of confusion with the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks a day away.

The Rev. Terry Jones said Thursday he would call off the planned burning of Qurans based on a deal negotiated with the president of the Islamic Society of Central Florida that the location of a mosque planned near ground zero in New York would be changed.

But Imam Muhammad Musri said he was clear on Thursday when he told Jones that he could only set up a meeting with planners of the New York City mosque, whose leader said he had spoken to neither the pastor nor Musri. Jones responded by opening the door, if only a crack, that he would go forward with his plan on Saturday.

“We are just really shocked,” Jones said of Musri. “He clearly, clearly lied to us.”

For U.S. political leaders and Muslims around the world who have been outraged by Jones’ antics, the on-again, off-again threat bred even more angst and frustration.

Cleric Rusli Hasbi told 1,000 worshippers attending Friday morning prayers in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim country, that whether or not he burns the Quran, Jones had already “hurt the heart of the Muslim world.”

Cleric Rusli Hasbi told 1,000 worshippers attending Friday morning prayers in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim country, that whether or not he burns the Quran, Jones had already “hurt the heart of the Muslim world.”

“If he’d gone through with it, it would have been tantamount to war,” the cleric said in the coastal town of Lhokseumawe. “A war that would have rallied Muslims all over the world.”

Comment by American Grand Jury:

What do they mean tantamount to war.. These animals have been at war for centuries. They are living in the dark ages. These people would just as soon kill you as look at you.

Who in their right mind can believe what these Muslims say is true anymore.

The Ground Zero Mosque is a “trophy” mosque. These Imans will never stop trying to build it and they will cheat and lie to anyone who tries to reason with them.

Comment by American Grand Jury:

As long as Obama and Holder are running the show I believe burning the American flag, even in the United States, will become common place.

By backing down this country will empower these terrorists.

Side note: I for one believe this would have never have happened if Bush were still running the show. Say what you want about Bush but he was not afraid of the terrorists. Obama wets his pants every time someone looks sideways at him!

A fiery Florida pastor called off his bonfire of Korans today after claiming he has a deal that will move a controversial mosque away from the site of the 9/11 terror attacks, but the Muslim cleric planning the so-called Ground Zero Mosque quickly denied to ABC News that he has agreed to move his project.

Pastor Terry Jones of Gainesville, Fla., emerged from his church in Gainesville, Fla., along with Florida Imam Muhammad al-Masri to announce his decision to cancel his Koran burning, saying he viewed the supposed deal as “a sign from God.”

The fiery pastor said that Imam Abdel Rauf, the leader behind the Ground Zero mosque in Manhattan, will meet with him in New York on Saturday.

“He has agreed to move it,” Jones said referring to the Ground Zero Mosque. “And we have agreed to cancel our event on Saturday.”

“Americans don’t want the mosque there and of course Muslims don’t want us to burn Korans,” said Jones.

Rauf, however, told ABC News that there is no deal.

“I am glad that Pastor Jones has decided not to burn any Korans,” Rauf said. “However, I have not spoken with Pastor Jones or Imam Musri. I am surprised by their announcement.”

Comment by American Grand Jury:

So who is telling the truth? Is Rev. Jones pulling our leg or is the Mosque in NYC really going to be moved?

One thing is for sure, the “LIBERALS” are going nuts. Don’t you just love it. I mean look at the headlines. They act as if we just killed their mother. AP won’t show photos, Fox and other news media won’t cover, Interpol on active alert, Church website shut down, Black Panthers saying they will retaliate — on and on!

Looks like a small Church of Bible followers struck a “major” nerve. Who says God doesn’t have the power?

By Hasani GittensSource: NBC in New York - Offer is Denied at 25% profit

No stranger to a big gamble and chasing down a little free press, the Donald has offered to buy out the main owner of the site of the proposed Islamic Center that is being developed two blocks from Ground Zero.

The offer, however, fell flat.

Wolodymyr Starosolsky, a lawyer for the investor in the real estate partnership that controls the site, says Trump’s offer is “just a cheap attempt to get publicity and get in the limelight.”

In a letter to Park51 investor Hisham Elzanaty, an Egyptian-born businessman who says he provided a majority of the financing for the two buildings where the center would be built, Trump offered to pay 25 percent more than what Elzanaty paid for the site at 45-47 Park Place.

Trump writes that his reasons to buy are not business but patriotic.

“I am making this offer as a resident of New York and a citizen of the United States, not because I think the location is a spectacular one (because it is not), but because it will end a very serious, inflammatory, and highly divisive situation that is destined, in my opinion, to only get worse,” wrote Trump.

He states that as part of the offer the developers would have to agree that they would not build another mosque any closer than five blocks from the World Trade Center site.

Trump’s offer is “all cash” with an “immediate closing.”

It’s unclear how much control Elzanaty has over the property, which is owned by an eight-member investment group led by Soho Properties.

On Wednesday, Elzanty told The Associated Press that he has always viewed the project primarily as an investment opportunity, and would sell some of the site if the price is right.

And the imam slated to lead the spiritual component of the center told CNN that if he had realized how some Americans would react to the location, he would have picked some other spot.

“If I knew this would happen, if it would cause this kind of pain, I wouldn’t have done it,” Feisal Abdul Rauf said.

Meanwhile, a Florida pastor who had that he would burn Qurans on 9/11 to protest the mosque now says that he will not set fire to copies of the holy book. Pastor Terry Jones said he canceled his plans because Imam Rauf agreed to move the mosque — but that was completely wrong.

Comment by American Grand Jury:

Twenty-five Per Cent is a huge rate of return — and all cash — so this isn’t about money, this is about holding the United States hostage to Islam. This has always been about the VICTORY Mosque. Muslims will laugh the world over and claim victory if this Mosque gets built.

Trump made a generous offer and it should be accepted.

Where’s Eric Holder on this? Oh yeah, I forgot, he is busy telling his attorneys if anything happens to NOT file charges against the Panthers.. After all, they are just a bunch of “good old boys” — right?

by Ben JohnsonSource: Floyd Reports, story by Ben Johnson

On Tuesday, State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley called Pastor Terry Jones’ plan to hold a “Burn A Koran Day” on the ninth anniversary of 9/11 “unAmerican.” Hillary Clinton called it a “disrespectful, disgraceful act.” And just this morning, Barack Obama said the proposed event was “completely contrary to our values as Americans.” He cited local fire ordinances that might be used against the church if it proceeds and called on Jones to cancel the Mohammedan bonfire.

Although he tried to stop the desecration of Korans, Obama showed no such concern for the American flag. In June 2006, Senator Obama voted against the Hatch Amendment, a proposed constitutional amendment that read in full: “The Congress shall have power to prohibit the physical desecration of the flag of the United States.” It failed by one vote.

In an official statement explaining his vote, the future president said even debating the issue of flag burning was “a disservice to our country” and agreed that banning flag desecration “would destroy part of freedom itself.”

He added that he was “hard-pressed to find more than a few instances of flag burning each year” perpetrated by a few lonely souls.

This weekend’s happening is the only Koran burning in the country. Dove World Outreach Center of Gainesville, Florida, has 50 members.

Obama now states, correctly, that burning the Koran may endanger American soldiers overseas. But so, too would his decision last year to release up to 2,000 of photos of Americans abusing Muslim detainees, which virtually the entire military establishment said would supercharge al-Qaeda recruitment. He eventually relented.

When a Christian pastor threatens, however distastefully, to burn the Muslim scriptures, Obama’s rhetorical condemnation knows no bounds. He even cited local laws police could use against the church. But when the issue is burning a flag or building a mosque at Ground Zero, his only interest is protecting the constitutionally guaranteed rights of his constituents (America-hating Muslims and America-hating liberals, respectively). Throw in a globetrotting childhood being raised by a far-Left mother, the influence of Frank Marshall Davis, more than a decade of drinking in Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s sermons, and his all-consuming obsession with America’s “tragic” history, and one gets a clearer picture why he does not cross his heart during the National Anthem, wear a flag pin, or vote to ban flag desecration.[1] Add to that Obama’s statements about the “Holy Quran” and the Muslim call to prayer being “one of the prettiest sounds on earth,” and the picture becomes clearer yet.

Obama does not oppose flag burning, because most people only oppose desecrating something they love.

Comment by American Grand Jury:

This story hits the nail on the head. Obama is against “Koran burning” for a very important reason: he is a Muslim. He is also about as anti-American as you can get, not even born in this CountrySource: Lucas Smith Affidavit and Obama Birth Certificate showing BO is born in Kenya - story on American Grand Jury he has the audacity to tell folks, “that banning flag desecration would destroy part of freedom itself.”

My response to ZERO, “burning Korans in this circumstance sends the message that we wish to preserve freedom.”

By Pierre Thomas and Jason RyanSource: ABC news — stoking the fire

The FBI is concerned that Islamic extremists might attack and retaliate at this Saturday’s Koran burning planned by radical Florida pastor Terry Jones, ABC News has learned.

“While the FBI has no information to indicate a specific attack has been planned against the United States or U.S. assets in response to the ‘International Burn a Koran Day’ event, the FBI assesses with high confidence that, as with past incidents perceived as acts of desecration against Islam, extremist actors will continue to threaten or attempt to harm the leaders, organizers, or attendees the event,” an FBI intelligence bulletin notes.

The FBI is concerned not only about the potential for an attack at the event — but also about retaliation going forward. The Aug. 19, 2010 intelligence bulletin out of the Bureau’s Jacksonville field office is entitled, “Extremists Likely to Retaliate Against Florida Group’s Planned ‘International Burn a Koran Day.’”

The intelligence bulletin states that Jones’ advertising of the event drew an immediate response from a known terrorist website frequented by radicals.

Postings on the Al-Faloja website included a forum member writing:

“I wish to detonate myself in this church now. … I want to become a martyr and detonate myself in this filthiest filth.”

Another member warned:

“Oh you Americans, I swear by Allah if you do this deed await a war that you have not witnessed … we will not rest until we kill tens of you in place of every letter in the book of Allah. …”

Comment by American Grand Jury:

ABC stoking the fires but I think many can see what we are dealing with. We burn a book and they kill a church member, even worse, maybe an innocent bystander.

The snakes that follow Allah are all the same — deep down inside they want to wipe Israel and the United States off the map.

Fidel CastroHAVANA – Fidel Castro told a visiting American journalist that Cuba’s communist economic model doesn’t work, a rare comment on domestic affairs from a man who has conspicuously steered clear of local issues since stepping down four years ago.

The fact that things are not working efficiently on this cash-strapped Caribbean island is hardly news. Fidel’s brother Raul, the country’s president, has said the same thing repeatedly. But the blunt assessment by the father of Cuba’s 1959 revolution is sure to raise eyebrows.

Jeffrey Goldberg, a national correspondent for The Atlantic magazine, asked if Cuba’s economic system was still worth exporting to other countries, and Castro replied: “The Cuban model doesn’t even work for us anymore” Goldberg wrote Wednesday in a post on his Atlantic blog.

He said Castro made the comment casually over lunch following a long talk about the Middle East, and did not elaborate. The Cuban government had no immediate comment on Goldberg’s account.

Since stepping down from power in 2006, the ex-president has focused almost entirely on international affairs and said very little about Cuba and its politics, perhaps to limit the perception he is stepping on his brother’s toes.

Goldberg, who traveled to Cuba at Castro’s invitation last week to discuss a recent Atlantic article he wrote about Iran’s nuclear program, also reported on Tuesday that Castro questioned his own actions during the 1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, including his recommendation to Soviet leaders that they use nuclear weapons against the United States.

Even after the fall of the Soviet Union, Cuba has clung to its communist system.

The state controls well over 90 percent of the economy, paying workers salaries of about $20 a month in return for free health care and education, and nearly free transportation and housing. At least a portion of every citizen’s food needs are sold to them through ration books at heavily subsidized prices.

President Raul Castro and others have instituted a series of limited economic reforms, and have warned Cubans that they need to start working harder and expecting less from the government. But the president has also made it clear he has no desire to depart from Cuba’s socialist system or embrace capitalism.

Fidel Castro stepped down temporarily in July 2006 due to a serious illness that nearly killed him.

He resigned permanently two years later, but remains head of the Communist Party. After staying almost entirely out of the spotlight for four years, he re-emerged in July and now speaks frequently about international affairs. He has been warning for weeks of the threat of a nuclear war over Iran.

Castro’s interview with Goldberg is the only one he has given to an American journalist since he left office.

Comment by American Grand Jury:

In a rare interview given to an American journalist Castro acts like he is trying to seek redemption. Never going to happen. Castro is a “stone cold” killer. Cuba will remain in poverty as long as Castro is alive.

Ask a Cuban immigrant what they think of Castro? Hold your ears if you have sensitive feelings.

Socialism never works — maybe Castro could tell ZERO that! On second thought, what a joke that such would ever happen!

The Usurper was in Ohio today giving tired, old campaign speeches. This guy really thinks people are listening — in other news Rahm is going to run for Mayor of Chicago with Obama’s blessing. I think it is a convenient way for Emanuel to slither out while the gettin’ is good.

Obama is on a roll:

BO: “If we’re willing again to choose hope over fear, to choose the future over the past, to come together once more around the great project of national renewal, then we will restore our economy, rebuild our middle class and reclaim the American dream for the next generation,” he said

This guy is an idiot. We are not afraid BO, we are mad. Obama’s hope and change is that which bases core beliefs on Marxism and Islam.

WSJ: He fell back on campaign themes that propelled his 2008 surge: his grandfather’s World War II fight, his father-in-law’s struggle to work with multiple sclerosis and his work “in the shadow of a shuttered steel plant on the South Side of Chicago.”

BO never worked an honest day in his life — if anything he was trying to “organize” the steel workers into believing capitalism is evil and socialism the new future.

BO: “Instead of coming together like past generations did to build a better country for our children and grandchildren, their argument is that we should let insurance companies go back to denying care to folks that are sick, and let credit-card companies go back to raising rates without any reason. Instead of setting our sights higher, they’re asking us to settle for a status quo of stagnant growth, eroding competitiveness and a shrinking middle class,” Mr. Obama said.

Tired, old rhetoric. The health industry was doing just fine until ZERO came along. If credit-card companies are so evil why aren’t the Democrats legislating against them. My credit card rates increased during the Obama years, not decreased. The stagnant economy is Obama’s idea of change, not ours!

BO: “If we’re able to do this together, I think we’ll show the American people that we understand what’s going on in the country, and we’ll be able to get our economy moving again and get jobs growing in America,”

The only thing we will be able to do together is vote all of these communists out of office, starting in November 2010 — come 2012 we will get rid of BO’s sorry ass too if he isn’t removed before then.

Progress REPORT on Obama’s Administration

In the first 19 months of the Obama administration, the federal debt held by the public increased by $2.5260 trillion, which is more than the cumulative total of the national debt held by the public that was amassed by all U.S. presidents from George Washington through Ronald Reagan. source..Source: CNS news, story by Terence P. Jeffrey

What do we have to show for it? The single largest unemployment rate since Carter. Thanks to Obama the economy is completely upside down.

Despite weeks of complaints — and also, he claims, several death threats — Rev. Terry Jones has shown no signs of relenting.

When ABC News’ “Nightline” caught up with the controversial preacher, who always keeps a pistol close at hand, he said he and his flock would consider Petraeus’ advice and continue to pray about whether to go ahead with the book burning.

But, all the signs point to an inferno. There is panel truck full of wood on the Gainesville, Fla., church’s 20-acre campus, as well as a clearing set aside for the fire pit. The Facebook page has more 8,000 members.

And there’s the rhetoric.

“Of course it’s insulting, of course it’s not a nice thing to do,” Jones, a former hotel manager, told “Nightline’s” Terry Moran. “But this is a very dangerous religion. If we don’t do it, when do we stop backing down?”

On the road leading up to the church are a series of signs that read, “Islam is of the Devil.”

Koran Burning: What Would Jesus Do?

Comment by a Church member in favor of burning the Koran:

Let’s just make one thing clear. A small church, in a small town, down a back road, burning copies of its own books, on its own property, is not responsible for the violent actions anyone may take in retaliation to our protest. Remember, Paul did not make the snake, the fire drove it out and he was bitten. If violence happens in reaction to this, the violence was not caused by us, it has just been exposed.

Phil’s response:

To me, this is where the illogic of Rev. Jones’ premise begins to show. They want to engage in an inciteful act (what could be construed as an act of violence) but don’t want to be held responsible if someone reacts to their reaction of a book burning. Then, if such a reaction occurs, they want that reaction (presumably, by Muslims [of any sort?]) to be construed as violence that would have happened anyway. The presumption is that whatever violence would occur based on the reaction to their act of violence was going to happen regardless of what this church was going to do.

In other words, what they’re saying is that Muslims are inherently violent people when confronted with their own holy book being burned, despite the fact that they themselves would probably — no “probably” about it: the book burning is premeditated! — react in a violent manner if their holy book were being burned.

Luke 22:47-53, New American Standard Bible:

While He was still speaking, behold, a crowd came, and the one called Judas, one of the twelve, was preceding them; and he approached Jesus to kiss Him..

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, are you betraying the Son of Man with a kiss?”

When those who were around Him saw what was going to happen, they said, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

And one of them struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his right ear.

But Jesus answered and said, “Stop! No more of this.” And He touched his ear and healed him.

Then Jesus said to the chief priests and officers of the temple and elders who had come against Him, “Have you come out with swords and clubs as you would against a robber?

“While I was with you daily in the temple, you did not lay hands on Me; but this hour and the power of darkness are yours.”

Phil:

For the Koran burning issue, two negatives only make a positive in mathematics; returning evil for evil is never condoned in holy writ.

I disagree with Phil on this. See my comment below:

Comment by American Grand Jury:

I would like to weigh in on this controversy. So far, Eric Holder, Hillary Clinton, General Petreaus, the Vatican, NYPD, and Robert Gibbs speaking for the White House have denounced this Church in Gainesville, FL. That has to tell you something. I will guarantee you one thing, if the roles were reversed and a group of Muslims were going to burn the Bible on their Mosque grounds there wouldn’t be a word said about it from these people with the exception of the Vatican.

Something has to be done. Americans have to stand up and tell the world that we don’t buy Islam as this Country’s religion, we don’t accept Mosques being built on sacred ground, we don’t accept Obama and his administration trying to give war-time terrorists rights under our Constitution and we don’t accept Sharia law in America.

I think Rev. Jones and his congregation are making a statement that many in this Country secretly agree with but are afraid to openly speak out about. Times have changed. We must stand up and expose Islam for what it is — Islam is an anti-God political institution designed to enslave humanity — it will someday bury us if we don’t stop it now.

RESPONSE to Phil:

“An eye for an eye.” Most Americans don’t even realize there is a problem until it is exposed. What is the difference between building a Ground Zero Mosque on sacred ground or burning a Koran on Church property?

Personally, I am sick and damn tired of turning the other cheek. I am fighting for God, and refuse to agree with those that would give a free pass to the Devil — if I am I wrong then God will punish me. I know in my heart that Islam is Satan’s religion. Burn all the Korans as far as I am concerned.

May I remind most of you that good and evil have been at war since the beginning of time. Humanity revolves around God’s Holy war — you can choose whichever side you want, but I am not going to give one inch to the Devil’s side. Islam is like cancer — give it an opening and it will kill you. Many Churches in the world only turn the other cheek. They also place more value in having a “Starbucks” get-together before a sermon than actually preaching the “spiritual” word. Things have to change.
