FORT MEADE, Md. (AP) — A military judge in Maryland has refused to order the release of school records that could include a copy of President Barack Obama’s birth certificate.

The documents were sought by an Army doctor, Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin, who is being court-martialed for disobeying a deployment order because he doubts Obama’s qualifications to serve as commander in chief.

The judge ruled Thursday that those records and any other evidence or witnesses pertaining to Obama’s birth are not relevant to the case and will not be admitted. Prosecutors have argued that Obama’s birth certificate shouldn’t be part of the case, especially since the order for Lakin to deploy to Afghanistan didn’t come directly from the president.

Lakin’s lawyer has argued that if Obama isn’t a natural-born citizen, any military order given under his administration is unlawful.

There is not much we can say right now until we hear all the details from Lakin’s Defense team. The stakes have gotten higher. It looks like all the courts, Military and Federal are now involved with the cover-up.

I would like to repost a wonderful letter we received from one of our American Grand Jury members who is a retired Doctor from the United States Army:

As a veteran of Viet Nam and Operation Iraqi Freedom, a Country Doctor in rural South Dakota, and an Army Master Flight Surgeon, I can only re-emphasize what Lieutenant General Thomas McInerney so well expressed. He too, as is Lieutenant Colonel Lakin, truly a hero and he is speaking for all the clear thinking people in the greatest country ever on this earth! President George Washington understood that the essential ingredient in a President was good Character. General Washington and our first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, John Jay, put the NATURAL BORN CITIZEN clause into our Constitution for good reason. If that phrase is to be changed, it must be so done by an amendment and not by a political party, Congress, or a judge. May God bless Colonel Lakin, General McInerney, and all of those who support the rule of Law. Our Constitution, and Declaration of Independence are above all other laws passed and these Founding Documents are the only source of legitimacy for the 545 servants in place to carry out the Constitution’s mandates. “We The People” have enjoyed freedom since 1789!

Loyalty to the United States has prompted veterans to fight and offer the supreme sacrifice since the 19th of April 1775!

For a long time, we have noticed that the decor at the White House has changed since BHO moved in.

The Oval Office is now stripped of the traditional red, white, and blue, and replaced with middle eastern wallpaper, drapes, and decor.

The hallway that he walks out of to talk to the press now has middle eastern chairs, drapes, etc. And the thing that has bothered me the most is the bright yellow drape behind him every time he speaks from the white house.

It has Arabic symbols on it and has been there from the beginning.

Today I received this and it clearly shows what I have been noticing.
That bright yellow curtain is highly visible, but as you scroll down,
you will see what is predominantly absent. Also, as you look at
the pictures of other presidents speaking from the same spot, look
at the traditional ‘American’ background and decor as opposed to
the new decor. Trust me when I say that this is intentional. It should
alarm every American.

What is missing at Barack Hussein Obama’s press conference?

That’s right…no American flags!!!

And I don’t believe it was just an accident! It is intentional. So I ask, why is it intentional?

He told you he would change America , didn’t he? This man, whoever he really is, is not an American. He and his ilk want to end the American Free Enterprise System.

An image, as any PR pro can tell you, has a life of its own. It can be manipulated and shaped to an extent, but only to an extent. Once past a difficult-to-define but easily recognized point, it is what it is and can be adjusted only on the margins.

This is as true of presidents as anyone else. Consider Franklin D. Roosevelt. Whatever you might think of his policies, the image is clarity itself. Cheerful, insouciant, debonair, a man of great optimism and good will, if confined to his own terms. A man whose personality so overcame his disability as to render it irrelevant. Under the conditions of the Depression, any other son of the upper classes sporting a pince-nez and a cigarette holder would have been run out of town on a rail. Not Roosevelt — they simply added to his charm, a charm as evident today in his photos as it was during his lifetime. That charm never failed him — except in the case of Stalin, who was, of course, immune to anything human.

Despite the efforts — efforts that continue to this day — to depict Ronald Reagan as a dolt, a maniac, or a throwback, his historical image easily equals FDR’s. Reagan was a man of continual good cheer, no matter what the situation. He inspired trust from a battered nation, a trust that the media could never dent, a trust that was never betrayed. He was not as urbane, perhaps, as FDR (you would not have caught Reagan dead with a cigarette holder), but he was in no way a sucker for ideologues, as FDR too often was. It’s no surprise that each in his own way was a revolutionary leader, creating a hinge on which the age itself swung.

We can contrast these two with Richard Nixon, the black sheep of American politics. “Tricky Dick” — shifty, dishonest, and untrustworthy. Comic impressionists of the day always portrayed his eyes as darting to all corners of the room, though Nixon in truth was one of the most self-controlled of any public figure. It has been clearly demonstrated that he was no worse than many others who preceded him — among them none other than FDR himself. Nixon’s weaknesses were those of the neurotic, the man who is self-destructive despite his talents, who can never build so high that he himself can’t tear it down. Nixon was a pathetic figure, his story a democratic tragedy. But he was never able to arouse any sense of sympathy. His image is set in concrete as the great American Machiavelli, a manipulator, a liar, and a cheat. Even history let Dick Nixon down.

George W. Bush was attacked more viciously than Reagan, and with a much broader brush. Even today, a large percentage of the publicly available “photos” of Bush are in fact photoshopped caricatures. But the image of Bush reflected in the actual record is one of equanimity, of an almost preternatural calmness in the face of a deeply hostile universe. The historical Bush is a man who could confront the worst catastrophes with deep serenity and a quiet, unshakable confidence in his own abilities. His enemies depicted this as vacuity or stupidity, but that’s mere projection. It is a rare quality, not often encountered in daily life and almost never seen in a politician. Little wonder that it is only now being recognized. Criticize Bush all you wish; we could have done far worse.

Barack Obama’s image as president is still in a state of flux. No previous president put more effort into image formation. Obama was presented to the country, with his own approval and collaboration, as a religious figure, a prophet for a secular age. A messiah to match the new millennium, a god-emperor possessing abilities beyond those of average men. His rhetoric, behavior, and iconography all reflected this — the halos, the church-like lighting, the worshipful descriptions of his followers.

All that is gone. Obama could act as a textbook example of the limitations of image manipulation. If any effort could have kept an image alive, it would have been this one. More resources, time, and energy went into the Obama myth than any comparable campaign. The nation’s entire media sphere was devoted for several years to preaching the gospel of Obama, along with a large proportion of the international media.

Obama’s permanent image as president appears to be shaking down to two possibilities. The first, embodied in his characteristic posture when addressing the public, might be called “American Duce.” Head thrown back, chin jutting, a frown cutting his features, Obama presents himself as less a man than an archetype of human power. Obama uses this during speeches, debates, and public events.

It’s even evident in the classic Hope and Change posters. It is an imperial expression, designed to overawe and impress, the expression of an Augustus contemplating his empire. Mussolini adapted it as the proper public image of the ruler of Nova Roma. To my knowledge, no other major leader since has utilized anything similar. (Mussolini’s other trick, limited to private audiences, was “the stare,” in which he would gaze penetratingly and unblinkingly while advancing on visitors, pausing to examine them for several seconds before moving on. Claudio Spadaro, who portrayed Mussolini in Franco Zefferelli’s film Tea with Mussolini, had this down to…well, to a “T.” If Obama starts pulling anything like this, we’ll really have something to worry about.

The other is what might be called the “schoolmarm” look. It is an expression of simple petulance and impatience, best characterized by the term “fuming.” A fixed glare, lips twisted in a near-pout, arms often crossed. One almost expects to hear the tapping of a foot. It’s a posture not often seen in presidents, more commonly encountered among stubborn juveniles and novice schoolteachers. We have been seeing this quite often lately since things began to seriously go south for the administration.

At this point, not yet halfway through his presidency, it’s impossible to say which image will settle upon Barack Obama. I myself have no particular preference. The Duce look has appeared in quite a few magazine and newspaper illustrations in recent months. I imagine that one has to be taken as better, if only marginally, than the other.

Our image seldom matches what we want, or what we may believe ourselves to be. Character always comes out. Obama is in the process of learning this. FDR was a flippant, engaging figure. Reagan was a man of endless good cheer (recall his joking with the surgeons after he was shot). Bush remains a man of superb calm and detachment. The real Obama will inevitably emerge. I doubt it will be a surprise to anybody.

Folks, I have heard it all now. I don’t criticize the “right” bloggers or media very often.. I bite my tongue. This time however I have to add my 2 cents worth.

Over at the WorldNetDaily website, which I love dearly, Joseph Farah and Ann Coulter have a feud going on. Now I totally side with Farah on this but in order to appreciate the implications you need to understand the facts. Farah has posted a number of personal editorials on this. I believe the reposting below tells most of the story. The challenge comes from Farah: He is accusing Coutler of pandering to the homosexuals because she has accepted a key note speaking engagement at GOProud’s “HOMOCON.” Homocon is nothing more than an attempt by the “liberal-left” gay community to sneak in the back door of conservative politics.

The second story is by Coulter, also posted on WND.com. I got to hand to Farah, he is a “class act.” This man is a true Christian. He “talks the talk as he makes the walk.” Even though he disagrees with Coulter on the Homocon issue he still allows her to post articles on his website. He has more guts than I do. If I were in his position I would have blown this fraud out many moons ago.

The Republicans and “conservatives” are now lining up to support GOProud’s “Homocon” event in New York next month – now that Ann Coulter has accepted the keynote speaker role.

• Craig Engle, former general counsel to the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

Suffice it to say, I told you so.

I told you this event was aptly named. It literally represents the homo conning of the Republican Party and the conservative movement.

This is exactly what I was warning about when we made the decision to drop Ann Coulter from the presenters at the “Taking American Back National Conference” in Miami – one week before this Homocon event. This is shaping up to be a significant turning point for the late-great conservative movement and the Republican Party.

If ever there were a time for Republicans and conservatives to stand up and be counted, this is it.

So far, as far as I can see, I am the only high-profile national personality to warn of the serious threat this radical group poses to confused Republicans and conservatives apparently not well-grounded enough in biblical values and the very meaning of the word “conservative.”

When I said Ann Coulter was giving validation to this group, this is what I meant. She has opened the floodgates for participation and support for a group that favors:

• liberty-destroying hate-crimes legislation;
• same-sex marriage;
• open homosexuality in the U.S. military;
• special government perks for homosexuals.

Coulter has called Farah every name in the book. She is one “PO’ed” broad. Never scorn a woman in heat. Personally, when she comes on the tube I change channels.

The nonsense about President Obama being a Muslim has got to stop. I rise to defend him from this absurd accusation by pointing out that he is obviously an atheist.

Leave aside Obama’s fanatical opposition to allowing Illinois hospitals to save the lives of babies with God-given souls inadvertently born alive during abortions. Also leave aside the fact that neither of his parents were Christians. And leave aside his current crop of “spiritual advisers,” which is a collection of Mother Earth worshippers, polytheists and other nonbelievers.

Now rest from all that “leaving aside.”

The only evidence for Obama’s Christianity is that he faithfully attended the Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s Trinity United Church of Christ for 20 years.

Yes, the guy bellowing “God damn America!” is the one vouching for Obama’s Christianity. That’s like saying you got sober with the help of your A.A. sponsor Lindsay Lohan.

It is a fact that any non-retarded person (thank you, Rahm Emanuel!) sitting in the Rev. Wright’s church for 20 minutes, much less 20 years, does not believe in God. Even stepping inside Wright’s church for a moment to get out of the rain is borderline racist.

Jim Caviezel as Christ again — this time in English — “The Word of Promise: New Testament Audio Bible”

Going to Trinity United Church of Christ is even stronger evidence of non-belief than Bill Clinton returning from Sunday services to receive oral sex from Monica Lewinsky. This isn’t mere sin – everybody sins (though some with more frequency and less remorse than others).

Attending Wright’s church is the conscious, calculated decision to immerse yourself in hate-filled demagoguery and call it “Christianity.”

But according to North Korean TV’s Chris Matthews, it is a provable, scientific fact that Obama is a Christian because he says so. “Everybody watching right now,” Matthews said to his several viewers last week, “gets credit for being of the religion you say you are. … We accept that in America. It’s called freedom of religion and respect for religion.”

That would make professions of religious belief, unlike all other self-professions, unchallengeable. Liberals say conservatives don’t believe in civil rights. I say liberals are godless traitors. Why is one statement debatable and the other not?

Doesn’t anyone question the Christianity of Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker? How about the Satanists claiming to be Christians who stand outside soldiers’ funerals with signs that say “God Hates Fags”?

After Lisa Murkowski’s gracious concession last night, Joe Miller is Alaska’s Republican senate candidate. What drama! As a relatively new Alaskan, I watched this contest unfold in the last few months from my vantage point in southeast Alaska, Murkowski territory. What was Palin doing, I wondered, when she endorsed the long shot Joe Miller?

I was even more amazed when the Tea Party Express group earlier this summer announced its support for Miller, one of only two candidates in the nation it was actively supporting.(The other is Sharron Angle. The group is now also helping Christine O’Donnell.) Why spend scarce resources targeting Murkowski, a solid middle-of-the-road Republican, a safe bet to defeat her Democrat opponent, in a primary, instead of spending the funds on the many critical races that are already past the primary stage?

Further, Sarah Palin has made appearances at Tea Party Express events. Surely Tea Party Express intervened in Alaska only after seeking Palin’s blessing and advice — or perhaps she came to them.

This morning, Palin’s political judgment is vindicated once again. This operation was a daring raid behind enemy lines. It inspirits the troops, stuns the enemy, and completely changes the battlefield, a much better use of resources than throwing them into the trench warfare of the California races. And, after taking it on the chin for supporting McCain in his primary, Palin has shown the world her true conservative colors once again. This matters if she is positioning for a presidential run in 2012. Her decision to endorse Miller and bring in the Tea Party Express convinced me that she is indeed doing so.

I like Palin. I was against her endorsing McCain in my home State of Arizona but I also understand politics. Palin cannot win the Republican nomination without an “old dog” like McCain giving consent. Palin is a smart field commander when it comes to strategy. She has them all buffaloed — which, as my mother would say, “it’s a good thing.”

The primary reason I endorse Palin is that the communists on the LEFT really (and I mean REALLY) HATE her more than any other person alive. What does that tell you? They are absolutely scared out of their minds that she can stomp the Democrats and put this nation back on a conservative path. She is truly the “second coming” of Reagan. Many may disagree with me but the proof is in the pudding. Murkowski (a pro-abortion supporter) was a shoe-in as the “old line” RINO in Alaska to get the Republican nomination. Palin swooped in and busted up the party naming Miller (a pro-life supporter) the correct choice. This win opened some important doors. If Palin can do the same for Sharon Angle in Nevada it is game, set, match! All eyes are on Nevada come November 2010.

A retired lieutenant general from the U.S. Air Force who commanded forces armed with nuclear weapons says the disclosure of Barack Obama’s documentation proving his eligibility to be commander in chief is critical not just to the defense of an officer challenging the president’s status, but to the preservation of the nation itself.

The vehement statements came in an affidavit from retired Lt. Gen. Thomas G. McInerney, a Fox News military analyst, that was disclosed today by an organization generating support for Lt. Col. Terrence Lakin.

Lakin had invited his own court-martial because he is unable to follow orders under the chain of command with Obama at its head until and unless Obama’s eligibility is documented.

A hearing is scheduled in Lakin’s court-martial case Thursday at which a ruling is expected on defense requests for the very evidence that McInerney is citing.

The general, who retired in 1994 after serving as vice commander in chief of USAF forces in Europe, commander of the 3rd Tactical Fighter Wing and assistant vice chief of staff of the U.S. Air Force, among other positions, said the chain of command issue is critical in today’s world, since officers are obligated both to follow orders and to disobey illegal orders.

“Officers in the United States military service are – and must be – trained that they owe their highest allegiance to the United States Constitution,” he said in the affidavit.

“There can be no question that it is absolutely essential to good order and discipline in the military that there be no break in the unified chain of command, from the lowliest E-1 up to and including the commander in chief who is under the Constitution, the president of the United States. As military officers, we owe our ultimate loyalty not to superior officers or even to the president, but rather, to the Constitution.”

He continued, explaining, “good order and disipline requires not blind obedience to all orders but instead requires officers to judge – sometimes under great adversity – whether an order is illegal.

“The president of the United States, as the commander in chief, is the source of all military authority,” he said. “The Constitution requires the president to be a natural born citizen in order to be eligible to hold office. If he is ineligible under the Constitution to serve in that office that creates a break in the chain of command of such magnitude that its significance can scarcely be imagined.”

Lakin is being supported by the American Patriot Foundation, which said the affidavit is for use in Lakin’s trial, scheduled Oct. 13-15, as well as Thursday’s hearing on the evidence to be allowed in the case.

Officials said McInerney is the highest-ranking officer yet to lend public support to Lakin.

A recent poll showed that only about 4 in 10 Americans believe Obama’s story of being born in Hawaii, living in Indonesia and then returning to America.

McInerney’s affidavit “acknowledges widespread concerns over the president’s constitutional eligibility and demands the president release his birth records or the court authorize discovery,” the foundation said.

Lakin’s defense counsel has asked for the president’s school records as well as a deposition from the custodian of Obama’s birth records that may exist in the state of Hawaii.

The hearing is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday at Ft. Meade, Md., at the courthouse at 4432 Llewellyn Ave., inside the military base. The court is open to the public.

There you have it. Either the Egyptian Foreign Minister is lying or Obama needs to tell us more about the unusual Christian religion he is practicing these days. Either way, Obama is toast!

THE OBAMA REGIME STOKES THE FIRES OF 1776

When Barack Hussein Obama spoke from his “bully pulpit” and proclaimed that America was not a Christian nation, he stirred the ire of a country and provoked its citizens yet again with a lie so outrageous as to be beyond belief.

At the end of the “Restoring Honor” rally in Washington on Saturday, many attendees left a little disappointed that they werenʼt told, where do we go from here? What was accomplished? Whatʼs the next step? When reading all the newspaper accounts of the event, people were further disillusioned with the negative reporting of the liberal media.

To many, the event itself was its own reward, and their faith in a good and loving God strengthened or restored. However, mostly we were there to show solidarity of a citizenry outraged at the destructive practices of a tyrannical government.

The “sleeping giant” is still in a coma despite reports that the TEA party movement has become a force to be reckoned with. Obama and his communist czars are perplexed as well with this phenomenon of a rag-tag collection of modern- day revolutionaries instilled with the spirit of our country’s founders ready to bear arms to protect life, property and our very liberties.

The “sleeping giant” is being deliberately prodded on a daily basis with outrageous actions by Obama and his “puppet masters” to get the giant to snap and create chaos and crisis to implement police and military action. No doubt Obama “got out of Dodge” to the safety of Martha’s Vineyard to watch a potential playing out of the plan they so persistently lay out with provocations. All the elements were there: mass numbers of white racists on one side and black militant marchers led by a race-baiting preacher on the other. If that wasn’t enough to start a crisis they could pounce upon, they stirred the pot by adding illegal alien pardons, back-door amnesty and reporting charges of human rights violations to the United Nations. And maybe for good measure allowing the Mexican government to put its soldiers on American soil to protect their illegal citizens from hate crimes in a New York borough.

Try as they might, nothing happened, and now their heads are spinning wondering what went wrong. They don’t get it now and they never will. This isn’t about anger at a black president. This is about Americans with honor in their hearts and a fierce desire to live our lives as free people. Glenn Beck provided the time and place for Americans to reaffirm their relationship with God, strengthen family ties and do what is right for America, and that is to take our country back from an out-of-control government that never errs of the side of decency.

There will be a million stories that come out of the Restoring Honor event, and unfortunately the liberally-biased ones will be most prominent. Two days later I still haven’t found one that tells the story I saw, so I’m writing it myself. I watched the rally from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial looking at the back of the jumbo-trons and stage rigging along with thousands of others. From our vantage point we could see the crowd stretching all the way to the Washington Monument. Although unable to see or hear the program, we were happy to be there and share a spirit of patriotism for our country and pride of knowing we are carrying the baton of liberty passed to us by our founding fathers as we prepare to pass it for our posterity.

The media has chosen to bill the Sharpton rally as the more significant of the two events aimed at honoring Dr. Martin Luther King but fails to convey what their message was, so here I am compelled to describe what I saw. And that was a group of angry blacks and a few whites screaming, “Justice now! Justice now!” while we stood scratching our collective heads and asking, “Justice for what?!” Their marchers assembled on a street behind police solo-bikes and amassed an estimated 200 or so protesters. They blocked access to people leaving the Beck rally, and even though they shouted ugly epithets, no one took the bait. We politely walked through their ranks saying no more than, “Excuse me” or “Can I get through?”

There was the incident where paramedics were working on a person prostrate on the ground surrounded by crowds unable to disperse because of barricades or more people when a mounted policeman angrily rode his horse into the crowd yelling, “Make a hole! Make a hole!” It was evident to those witnessing this that the cop was not happy to be there. Was he having a bad day and taking it out on his horse by kicking him and jerking the bit around in his mouth or just being among people he didn’t like? His actions were entirely unnecessary and worthy of discipline. He wasn’t even needed – the paramedics were already there.

Other stories relate disappointments such as that it got boring or that Beck didn’t deliver. They were expecting a miracle or a revelation that Obamaʼs hidden records have been revealed and impeachment processes have begun or LTC Lakin was a surprise guest on the agenda and we could all unite in support and move forward with a cohesive plan to fight his court-martial and get discovery of documents for his defense. None of these things happened, and although Beck continues to gather followers, he continually loses those of us who recognize how he falls pathetically short of having the courage to bring up the question of eligibility.

As I stood on the steps of the memorial and looked out over the hundreds of thousands of people, I witnessed something extraordinary. I wasn’t quick enough to capture it on my camera but it’s etched indelibly in my mind’s eye, a v-formation of geese flying long and low over the reflecting pool from the stage toward the Washington Monument. Not a miracle by a long shot but a symbol of hope and direction.

The miracle happened but it was so subtle as to go almost unnoticed by most. I saw it, though, and that’s why I had to write my story. Glenn Beck’s rally exposed Obama’s most outrageous lie. A million people came together and proved we are a Christian nation.
